Diwan introduced a .NET infrastructure to the project in collaboration with the client’s CTO to design and develop an Executive Dashboard.

In addition, Diwan was involved in the complete project lifecycle, including gathering business requirements, and designing, developing, testing and implementing an Automated Title Order Tracking System with Lenders First Choice. This involved also providing Technical Architecture and Business Analysis for designing and developing an interface for the existing LOS. The client needed to create and automate a workflow for Title Orders. The existing process required a Loan Processor to go to the Lenders First Choice (LFC) website to place a title order, but there was no way of tracking the status of the order. Diwan designed and developed a tracking system using .NET, XML and HTTP Request/Response technologies to minimize manual intervention and increase efficiency. Then, when a processor made a request for a title order, the system would automatically send the credit report and borrower information to LFC in XML format. LFC would then send a response in real-time to acknowledge the request and provide a Title Order Request confirmation. The system would then consolidate the response and credit reports in a loan folder created by the system and automatically notify the processor with an email confirmation. This meant that when a user placed an order via the NLC dashboard, a request in the form of a message in MS-MQ being monitored by the system kicked off a trigger to read the request, parse it and send it in XML format to the LFC website. A custom HttpHandler was developed to track the incoming data from LFC and secure it using HTTPS. The handler was hosted on the website and data published to LFC was available to the user via login and password.

Diwan designed and developed the DocMagic Interface to the Loan Origination System, which collected the data so that a third party could process the loan. This interface would transfer the data from LOS to DocMagic in a readable file format. Diwan also developed an interface to provide a Bulk Bid Tape to the client’s principals so that retail loans could be sold in bulk to investors such as Aurora Loan Service and Washington Mutual.

Diwan also designed the NLC dashboard based on .NET framework, which enabled executives to see a snapshot of their business performance at any given time in terms of loans funded, loans closed, and loan documents drawn, among other metrics. They could also evaluate any particular loan pipeline, such as secondary marketing, processing, underwriting, funding, and more. The development environment included VS.NET 2003, C#, Java, ASP.NET, Windows XP, MS-MQ, HttpHandler, Stored Procedures and SQL OpenXM.
